Impedire, sospendere, arrestare, in maniera più o meno improvvisa, la continuazione di un moto, di un’azione, di un’operazione già avviata, sia temporaneamente per un tempo indeterminato, sia definitivamente. Cessare a un tratto, arrestarsi nella continuazione del moto o dell’azione. Essere interrotto, e quindi cessare, non proseguire.

Interrogandomi sul libero arbitrio e sull’impossibilità di determinarci liberi. Da ogni piega si produce una piega, diversa, ma conseguente al movimento di quella venuta subito prima. Seppur siano le mie mani a plasmare la materia, non potrà mai esservi controllo sulla forma che dal mio plasmare prende vita.

To impede, suspend, arrest, more or less suddenly, continuation of a motion, of an action, of an already started operation, both temporarily for an uncertain time, and permanently. To cease all of a sudden, to arrest in the continuation of motion or action. To be interrupted and therefore stop, to not continue.

Asking myself about free will and the impossibility of determining ourselves free. Each fold gives rise to another fold, different, but resulting from the movement of the immediate previous one. Although my hands are the ones shaping the material, there will never be control on the shape coming to life from my moulding.
